UMD Rugby Team Facts
- One of the only Michigan - Dearborn athletic teams to compete against NCAA Division 1 Schools.
- Was chosen to play in the first UMD homecoming game, this past October
- Finished 5-2 in Division II with teams from Western Michigan, Grand Valley, Oakland University, Wayne State, Lake Superior State, and Hillsdale College.
- Founded in early March 2007 and began competing in September of 2007.
- Fastest growing sport on campus.
- Dearborn Local Access television filmed many practices and matches including broadcasting the Homecoming game.
